Slasher

A Slasher is feared among both mortals and monsters. Once hunters, something in them... Cracked. Broke. While they once may have hunted for the good of the city or their families, they now hunt for the sheer thrill of it. Often, Slashers doesn't stick to just murdering monsters - Anything that gives them the thrill is a legitimate target and the training they gained while fighting monsters is just as useful for evading police and catching college co-eds.
Disturbingly, a small number of Slashers displays what can only be called supernatural abilities. Everything from telekinesis to transformations and teleportation has been in Slashers, with only one thing in common; A disquieting unwillingness to stay dead. There's stories floating around Hunter societies of Slashers coming back from being boiled alive, driven over by trucks or even burned alive.
Fortunately, Slashers seems fairly rare - After all, few Hunters survives long enough to utterly be consumed by corruption.

Structure

Slashers almost always hunt alone. When two Slashers end up in the same territory, they almost always end up in a competitive murder free for all, trying to one-up the other. In the end, they almost always come to blows. In the rare few instances where multiple Slashers band together, it is a true terror for all, requiring truly desperate measures.
