What was your favorite thing about WorldEmber?
The Community. Meeting everyone and the positive atmosphere. The support everyone gave each other has been key to sticking with my goals. Also the relatively low bar for completion with option to over achieve.
What was the most challenging thing about WorldEmber for you?
Trying to get myself out there and interact with the community without being 'pushy'.
What would you like to see in the next WorldEmber?
An easier way for articles with low/no likes to be seen. Maybe a page just for all WE eligible articles in one place. Preferably sorted by category/article type, low likes (hidden jewels), most recent, etc. Searchable would also be nice.
Bonus question! If you took part in the homework challenges for WorldEmber, what did you think of them?
I loved the homework. This was my first World Ember and my first time doing a writing challenge in over a decade. Knowing what to prepare before hand, having a direction, even making sure my desk is clean. All of it was useful. This also helped me 'meet' people by going through the blog posts to see who responded and find other people participating in the challenge.
