Great Eethill (great E-th-hill)

Great Eethill is the most major continent of the Mortal Realm and is where most things will and have happened. Though the entire Mortal Realm has not been mapped out, it's believed that Great Eethill is in its center as the other discovered continents are based on the regions of Great Eethill or vice versa. For example, north of Great Eethill is Aeterwind, an incredibly cold and icy terrain where Shifters live, and Great Eethill's northern regions are incredibly similar to that kind of terrain. East of Great Eethill is the newly discovered Novus (now an archipelago) resembles Eethill's eastern regions being large hilly plains dotted by forests.

Geography

Great Eethill has many different biomes and regions within it including the following.

The Eethian Mountains

In the center of the continent separating the regions are the Eethian Mountains, the center of which contains Vintulla Basin where the city of Aekminur once stood on top of a grand platoe. A lot of the mountains are unexplored and may contain strange and mystical places, or nothing which only you can find out. NOTE: there is nothing possibly hazardous somewhere in the mountains due to a major campaign 1 decision... totally.

The Sands of Aethos

In the southeast is a grand dessert with ancient temples buried beneath its sand. Many have found, restored, and approved upon alien technology found there, creating the Barren's version of the Wild West. Horses have been replaced with sand gliders and those with plasma weapons rule.

The Vuruesian Fields

Lining the east coast is the Vuruesian Fields, a region mostly controlled by Vuruesis and Camelot. Rolling hills, small self-contained forests, and fertile flat lands cover the horizon making a beautiful scenery.

The Requian Coast

The south coast or the Requian Coast is a part of Great Eethill that has been breaking apart and moving over the years since the mortals fell asleep, breaking apart preexisting cities, temples, and kingdoms and scattering them out into the ocean.

The Broken Coast

The western coast was made up of many individual communities that eventually banded together one way or another, becoming areas such as Silentia, Hagsfield, and Urmany. This area is covered in forests and is difficult to navigate through, making it difficult for the people there to trade long distances.

Dukegern

In the southwest, the forests become denser and eventually join Dukegern, a vast jungle covering old kingdoms that let nature take it over.

The Frozen Coast

The north coast is covered in taiga and is very difficult to live in. The ones who live there do so in small groups (usually families) making a very family centered culture.
