Xendros Velmiz

Quartermaster of the Faithful

A trade delegation led by Captain Xendros Velmiz has recently come to Saltmarsh, reportedly to acquire large quantities of fish (salted and preserved for transport) for the realm of Farbarrow.
Farbarrow does not produce enough food to feed all its citizens, so it relies on imports for the rest, and Saltmarsh is one of its major suppliers. None can offer an explanation why such a place would require large quantities of food however.
However, the Quartermasters pay well and on time, and they buy shiploads of fish at once, so their presence is tolerated.
Xendros tends to keep to herself, aware that her appearance and presence make many in the town feel unsettled. She can sometimes be found drinking at The Empty Net.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Xendros is a striking figure. Her flame red skin glistens with it's own inner light, and the long horns that curve down the sides of her head are the same colour. A long red tail lashes behind her, a wicked-looking spike at the end. Her eyes, free from pupil and sclera, glow with an orange light.
Xendros has an unnerving habit of raising her tail so that it appears to be staring directly at whomever she is talking to.
Her clothing is functional and plain, comprising dark green and brown leathers with golden buckles.

Notable Achievements

Xendros Velmiz remains a mystery to most of the inhabitants of Saltmarsh. However, she has already garnered a reputation as being an honourable businesswoman, who pays in full and on time.
