Quartermaster

Nichtar Jonorin is the ebullient, ever-smiling Half-Elf quartermaster of The Smokestreak.
He has served with Captain Aldred Mollor for many years, and the two are old friends.
As Quartermaster, Nichtar is responsible for ships stores and morale, a job he takes seriously, even though he is always smiling and laughing.
Nichtar is an avowed atheist and consider religion to be nothing more than superstition. He suspects that religious types are hiding their magical powers behind an easy excuse.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Nichtar is a flamboyant figure, well-dressed in comfortable loose clothing and a dark, sleeveless half-coat. He wears a wide-brimmed hat which sports a peacock feather.
The half-elf moves with an easy grace on ship, easily scampering across the rigging, where he likes to spend most of his time.
He is an incorrigible optimist, always looking for the silver linings in any situation.

Notable Achievements

Nichtar has an unusual hobby - he does stand-up comedy gigs at local bars whenever in port and has won first prize in several competitions. He's a good entertainer, though his first love remains life at sea.
