Young Anders Solmor recently inherited his family's fleet of fishing boats after the untimely death of his mother, Petra Solmor, and as an important member of the town community has found himself on the Saltmarsh Town Council.
Though considered by some to be brash and inexperienced, since Anders owns both a fishing fleet and several trading vessels, he can sell his catch at a highly competitive price. And he can offer better prices for the other fishers in town to sell to him, since his catch brings in so much more profit. He has therefore proven himself to actually be a very successful young businessman.
Anders seems to have a good heart, and regularly speaks out against the practise of slavery and smuggling, saying that freedom is the root of all happiness. He is also know to pay his employees well.
His youthful exuberances have been kept somewhat in check by the good advice of his friend and long-time family retainer, Skerrin Wavechaser, who dotes on the boy.
Anders is dating Carmilla Fireborn, daughter of councilman Eliander Fireborn.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Anders is a slight man with sharp features and a ready smile, which he flashes often. Mid-length, neatly-trimmed blonde hair tumbles boyishly over his eyes, and he has an easy relaxed swagger about him.
He displays a youthful confidence, vigour and ambition, and his enthusiasm will often run away with him. Sunny and optimistic, he sees the potential for profit and opportunity in every challenge.

Notable Achievements

Following the death of his mother, Anders inherited her place on the Saltmarsh Town Council, becoming the youngest councillor to ever sit on it. He has since been re-elected, and is popular with the younger folk of the town.
Along with his recent successful forays into trade, Anders has become a bit of a local celebrity, and seems to like the attention.
