The Arxi, Second Children

The Arxi are the second children of The Ourvorax and were born in the Earliest Age, when time was still fluid. Many people believe that the difference between The Arxi and The Forgotten is that the latter is the world while the former is what mortals make of the world. Things The Arxi represent are wisdom, creativity, and ambition while The Forgotten are more associated with the physical attributes of the world like nature. The Arxi are concepts while The Forgotten are the physicality of what inspires concepts in the mortal mind. The common belief is that the reason The Arxi were able to overpower The Forgotten and take The Hallows Above is because the thoughts of mortals can over power the natural order. However, that can't be further from the truth, dear reader. The thoughts of mortals are so heavily influenced by the natural world that we cannot say that mortals can subjugate nature. I believe the turnover of powers symbolized the coming of mortals since it is believed that the Liberi came about shortly after The Arxi came into power.

The Rend

The Rend is when The Arxi split and became The Fulcra and The Fallen. This split marks the begining of the Ancient Era. No cleric, scholar, or diviner knows why the Rend happened but I have my theories. Before the split happened The Arxi were a united front of deistic power. After the split, they became polarized in what their aspects. Newly discovered records from The Liberi show the begining of the turmoil between The Arxi began when a new Astrum was detected, the Astrum now known as The Circles Below. It is interesting that The Circles were created before the Rend and not a result of it.
