Arduria system {OUTDATED}
The Arduria system, also known as the Makto-Fara system, is a trinary star system consisting of the main sequence stars Makto and Fara, as well as the red dwarf star Nujush. The system consists of 3 stars, 14 planets, more than 400 moons, and well over 3 million asteroids in the 3 asteroid belts. Of the planets and moons, 4 of the planets and 3 of the moons are habitable, with 2 of the planets and 2 of the moons hosting intelligent species descended from humans. Humans colonized the system and terraformed these 7 bodies c. 3-5 million years ago, however a catastrophe cut off the system from the rest of humanity and with their technology reduced to a stone age level, with the inhabitants of these worlds evolving to adapt to their environments, though with 3 of them still going extinct.
Makto/Fara subsystem
The Makto (also known as Fara) subsystem consists of five planets: Kolni A hot, terrestrial planet close to Makto, and tidally locked. Slightly smaller than Mercury Mishru A habitable planet, home to the Sildor species. Orbited by a single moon, Pellor. Notably larger than Earth Kannal A blue-green gas giant housing 41 moons, including Eridus, Mirad, Anaria, and Diyan. Around the size of Jupiter Tsavi A habitable planet on the colder side of Makto's habitable zone. Orbited by a single moon, Sevis. Roughly the size of Venus Merukat Belt An asteroid belt located just beyond the habitable zone Navu A barren, icy planet beyond Makto's ice line. Roughly the size of Callisto Tamras A yellowish Saturn-sized gas giant at the colder edge of the habitable zone, orbited by 38 moons Mokul A Neptune-sized ice giant at the edge of the system, orbited by 9 moonsNujush subsystem
Nujush is a red dwarf star roughly 0.1 light years away from Makto and Fara, and is orbited by 3 planets Raka A small, terrestrial planet Karnu A habitable world within the goldilocks zone, though tidally locked to Nujush Nolas A yellow-orange gas giant, orbited by 26 moons Karoli Belt An asteroid belt at the edge of the subsystemGeography
The Arduria system comprises three stars, each with their own planetary subsystems. The two main sequence stars, Makto and Fara, orbit around 40-50 AU apart from each-other, resulting in a one-way communication delay of around 4-7 hours depending on which planets a signal travels between. Another star, Nujush, orbits the pair at a distance of 0.1 light years, isolating its subsystem (including the habitable planet Karnu) from the rest of the system in most affairs.
