The ILVASIR family are land-holding nobility under vassalage to Northweyr Province. The ILVASIR family was raised to nobility two generations ago when their patriarch met his fate in battle alongside the old King (or Queen). The ILVASIR family is known for their industriousness, courage and determination to prevail despite all odds. Though few—if any—scholars and thinkers have been of this family, they were and are well-suited to the challenges of Northweyr.

Autumn 117--A letter from Rhys suggests a link between the signet ring found in the cloakroom of an Elderwrath cult's sanctum under Old Raven Tower. The heraldic device on the ring is worn down but visible as 'fox courant' or fox-in-chase. This matches the coat of arms for the ILVASIR family.
