Valhilda Bal-Alaan, Elon-Nanarion
(a.k.a. The Orphan Fox)
The young queen of Bal'Arin. Despite the lost of both of her parents and apparent lack of experience, the young ruler was able to make quick and effective reforms, both for the economy and the army.
Lately she has made a rapid conquest against the human tribes of Karanassos to the east, claiming new lands to her name. However, this campaign made some noble families resent her actions, as many considered it to be unhonorable to fight against other humans. And others despise how she has grown close to the Eleann and it's Emperor.
She is however fairly popular with her people and generally has the unwavering support of the Bal'Alarian army.
It is still a mystery of who killed the old Bal-Alaan and his wife. Many point theirs fingers towards the eastern human tribes and many have though that the Karanassos campaign was an answer to it. But Bal-Alaan refuses to comment it.
Addendum
In the year 1574 N.A, during the latter part of Flored. Thanks to invitation by Emperor Erensul, Valhilda made a diplomatic trip to Amaran. Once she got there, an assassination attempt was made on her. The attempt failed however and the assailants were either killed or captured.
An adventuring party was revealed to have foiled their plans and subsequently managed to save the Queen.
