Lag

Lag is a machine drug used by Artificially Intelligent machines throughout the Galactian Prime 
The effects of taking lag is a decreased reaction time, lack of response, and some other effects depending on the type of AI. A Volumetric Display Hologram, for instance, may have its image and forcefield update separately, which may result in it appearing to walk through people or objects. Both VDHs and robots may make jerky movements.
Unlike most drugs, lag is a section of code which machines can download and then keep running until whenever they want to stop tripping (or 'glitching'). This makes the experience of lag even harder to compare to that of biological drugs than the inability for someone to have done both types of drugs already makes it.
