Tygatha's Emporium of Safekeeping

Purpose / Function

Tygatha's Emporium of Safekeeping is a locksmith shop owned by Tygatha Brokentusk. An Orcish woman who is seen as a master of her craft. Unlike her competitors, it seems that her locks do not seem to fail to thieves quite as often. And when they do, it is typically a fair while after the lock has been purchased. She often iterates that because the skill of thieves always improve, locksmiths must keep up, so the same lock that may have worked a year prior may not be up to par with the new skill of the thieves.   Many of her rivals have been driven out of business though they still have some die-hard customers and more noble patrons that still purchase from them that ensures their business is kept up and running. After all, Tygatha's Emporium is only a fairly new arrival in Port Tah'mal, despite her making strides within the industry.

Architecture

Tygatha's Emporium of Safekeeping is a brick building just off one of the main port streets of Port Tah'mal, the capital of the former The Kingdom of Venithyr within The River Kingdoms. The brick itself is stone grey and it has a bright red tiled roof. There are windows and an attached workshop where Tygatha creates all of her locks. The main storefront is easily accessible from the street and oftentimes Tygatha's assistant, Malvin Nestus, a Halfling runs the main store for her while she works on the locks, though she does usually run the storefront at least four days a week.
