    Common Etiquette rules

Etiquette is very important in Shashamir society, so much so that a simple breach of this etiquette is considered an insult to the person to whom the etiquette was broken. Just as well, when you break the etiquette, the status of the person determines the severity of the insult. For instance, while breaking etiquette to a commoner is frowned upon, it is not often seen as a great insult to the person in question. However, breaking etiquette to a Noble or Royalty even is seen as a grave insult and an affront to society itself.

    Common Dress code

While the Shashamir does not have a formal dress code save for the fact that women must remain covered out in public, otherwise there is no official dress code, but typically the people of the Shashamir society wear exotic cloths and clothing in general. Most of them adorn themselves in silks and other light materials to help fend off the hot desert heat. While their clothes are typically light, they are also made and adorned with various luxurious materials, such as gold, silver, and made out of fine silks.

    Art & Architecture

The Shashamir are people whose culture is dominated by the concept of luxury and wealth. Overall they prefer to make exquisite and beautiful pieces of architecture and absolutely stunning art that captures the eye with both its beauty and it's shine. This is not to say that the Shashamir don't paint or use more mundane materials in their art, simply that it is less common for them as a small town populous to utilize these materials while the large cities and ports are far more likely to use the grander and more unique materials for their projects.

    Building Style

The Shashamir has a very unique style of building and because they live in luxury utilize primarily sandstone of which they chisel into various designs in order to create the feeling or effect that they want. Aside from sandstone, they utilize a lot of gold plating as well as other precious metals of which they plate their buildings in for aesthetic. Aside from these, in order to further create their dazzling buildings, they actually insert gemstones into the sides of their buildings to give it an almost glittery look when the sun is shining on them.   Their actual style though is very reminiscent of Persian and Indian architecture blended together. They prefer the domed roofs versus working with flat or tiled rooves, but it is not uncommon to see those style of roofs in the poorer districts of the Shashamir. They utilize these style of roofs to allow for additional stories or buildings to be built atop it, while a domed roof typically requires rebuilding of the structure in order to add more floors to it.

    The Arts

The Shashamir have a very Middle Eastern and Far Eastern inspired art style. They do a lot of tapestries and textile-based art, instead of painting they dye their thread and weave their art together. They see it as more durable and worthy of their time versus a canvas or animal skin.   In Shashamir art, there are several prevalent colors as each one has its own meaning within their culture. The primary colors they use for art are red, gold, blue, purple, and white. While they utilize other colors fairly often, these are the primary colors and they each hold their own significant meanings to the people of the Shashamir.
    • Red - Red is the color of glory and justice within Shashamir culture. Typically when weaving or creating art about a warrior or battle, Red is one of the primary colors as it helps to show the meaning and glory behind the battle or relates directly to the glories of the warrior being depicted.
    • Gold - Gold is the color of luxury and wealth. Typically gold is used to describe scenes of wealth or mercantilism. Otherwise, it is used to show that an individual or a group is particularly wealthy or that they live an extravagant or luxurious lifestyle.
    • Blue - Blue is either used to represent pacifism, peace, or prosperity. The color blue is typically utilized in art depicting protests, civil rights, among other humanitarian topics within Shashamir life. It is also traditionally used in art depictions of villages or towns to help emphasize that they are prosperous and peaceful places.
    • Purple - Purple is seen as a color of regality and nobility. Purple is typically used to describe and depict scenes of nobles or royalty in Shashamir society, or those of high status. Typically, nobles and other wealthy individuals wear various hues of purple in order to demonstrate their power and influence.
    • White - White is the color of purity and soul. Someone who wears the color white is typically seen as either religious or a good samaritan by the people. Typically charitable and kind people, as well as Priests, Clerics, and Paladins are all depicted with white within the arts.

    Ideals

    Beauty Ideals

The Shashamir have a very simplistic sense of beauty and simply prefer the more smooth-skinned and light brown beauty that is found in both the males and females.

    Gender Ideals

The Shashamir have a very patriarchal society where men are seen as authrotative and women are more sacred. Men typically carry more authoritarian roles in society as warriors and leaders.   However, while women are by law forced to wear silks that cover most of their body, any sort of harm or damage to them are seen as one of the most heinous laws and the perpetrators of the act are typically brutally tortured and then executed.   On the other hand, women when they come age, do habe the option to take 'The Saint's Oath' in which while they are no longer forced into a life of servitude and ease, they are also no longer bound by any of the laws protecting women. Most women who take this oath go on to become warriors.

    Courtship Ideals

In Shashamir society, males are able to take up to four wives. Their First Wife is the head of the Household in terns of keeping it clean and taking careof the children. The other three are second to her and listen to her to keep the household running for their husband.   Females who take the Saint's Oath are technically not supposed to marry within Shashamir culture, but if on the off-chance they do get married, their Husband is not supposed be marry another woman.

    Relationship Ideals

Men and women in Shashamir society have two very different qualities that the one seeks from the other. For instance, females that are more sought after tend to be beautiful, supportive, among other qualities. Some seek out cunning women to help them advance in society.   On the other end of the spectrum, women tend to gravitate towards the more powerful and wealthy men, or ones who have promising futures or jobs. This is mostly because the Sashamir live extravsgent and expensive lives, and so one much have the gold to support it.
