Hnan Amon

Hnan Amon is a region located in the eastern continent of Kahaan. In ancient times, this region was home to the mystic Ash Elves, until they were forced to leave their homelands during The fall of Bha'alae. Since then, Hnan Amon is reportedly covered in poisonous ashes and blighted black sand.

Geography

Hnan Amon is mainly composed of black deserts, sandy and rocky with mountain ranges in the west and the great sea in the east. Roughly in the middle of Hnan Amon, where the mountain reach into the east, Ageïr-Bhat'an lies. "The Black Giant" is it is called, is the supposed location where Bha'alae fell in the myths.

Fauna & Flora

Hnan Amon offer little to flora and fauna. The sands and ashes are poisonous and the air is blighted. Some creatures make their home in this cursed region though. Some find shelter underground, in caves or burrows. Others adapted to the toxic environment and became at least partially immune to their surroundings.   Ash elven legends also tell of great black beasts and vengeful spirits that roam the blackened plains and mountains.

Natural Resources

Its strange and toxic biome made the perfect environment for flora to adapt (or corrupt). The flora found here is often unique to Hnan Amon and therefore very valuable to herbalists and alchemists who use these herbs to produce poultices, salves and potions.   Hula is one of the plants that both grows in Kahaan as well as Hnan Amon and is used in many alchemical and herbal products.
