Hula

Hula is a leafy plant native to the scorching deserts of Kahaan. Its roots and leafs possess potent antitoxic and regenerative properties. The people of Kahaan sometimes chew the dried leaves, which strengthens the user against the deadly Kahanian Fever.

Hula grows in the scorching deserts of Kahaan, where it thrives in the hot sun, that beats it leaves without respite. It can survive in scorching conditions with very little water, party thanks to its ability to convert Arcanium into energy.

Hula needs extremely little water to survive. Its main method of gathering energy is through photosynthesis and arcanasynthesis. It gathers light and arcanium and converts it into usable energy to grow.

Hula is mainly known as a potent alchemical product. It possesses the powerful antitoxic and regenerative properties needed for various salves, antitoxins and magickal potions. Hula roots are dried and ground into a powder before being used in these products. Popular healing potions or found in Al Achnon are often (partially) made with ground hula root. Dried hula leaves are widely used by the Sekhmet and Kiz Yiarei people as a weak chewable narcotic. Chewing the leaves releases a mild sweet taste and strengthens the users natural immunesystem to resist the deadly Kahanian Fever poison that is sometimes carried in the ash storms that ravage throughout Kahaan.
