Helios Innovations cut their teeth on sustainable, low maintenance, low impact supplies for small colonies. They are responsible for much of the expansion in the Centauri System and a few intrepid homesteaders that have begun to stream into the Barnard System searching for artifacts in the ruins found there. The focus of their equipment is sustainability first, and utilizing natural forces already present to power them, especially suns and the suns' most valuable physical residue, tritium.

Solar Sails and Yachts

Helios is also one of the few companies offering solar sail yachts, and their only serious competition is GCT. Their pleasure barges are designed with an eye towards beauty, elegance, and sustainability. A cruise between Venus and Mars (the most popular route for them) may take a month or more, but those on board can be healthy and happy for the entire journey. While most freelancers or space adventurer types wouldn't dream of this kind of travel, there are yacht parts that HAVE gained general popularity, as a system for showering with recycled water is a luxury even a Techno-Barbarian can appreciate. 

Stellar Harvesting

Helios Innovations has a number of stellar space colonies that are set up in far-flung systems, particularly those with old or dying stars, in order to harvest their cores. Their first operation in the Bernard System is what led to the discovery of Darkplanet and the ruins thereon. Helios has thus taken an interest in xenoarchaeology and stellar cartography, selling survey data of systems that are useless to them to other corporations and the PSC.
