Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tall and petite, slightly bug-like with an exoskeleton edges.
Body Features
Has long moth wings folded under his cape, with the long tails beaking out the bottom. He is slightly bug-like with hard skin like an exoskeleton, and has segmented joints, including his finger joints. His feet are a combination of digitigrade and flea feet. His skin his a light desaturated purple that changes tint with his emotion, almost in the way humans blush.
Facial Features
Deep black eyes with an oily sheen over them; no pupil or iris. Long elf-like ears with a second small ear tip fused into the bottom. Corners of his mouth and chin are seamed into his cheekbones (and can split apart). His nose is straight and long (Grecian). Two long fluffy antennae grow just above his eyebrows and are usually wrapped around the sides and back of his head. His hair on his scalp is like fused roots, and the rest of his hair is tied back in almost a bun and grows as thorny vines covered in flowers.
Physical quirks
Much like his home, Naish Luu, Manix's skin seems to subtly shift in color, though it only changes hue so with emotion. He doesn't change color with every shift in emotion, but when the emotion is particularly strong, he will blush the color.

Wears a tight high-necked shirt with a cape that drapes off his shoulders. The cape is clapsed in the middle by a gold ring that holds his magic focus, which is a golden orb with an hour, minute, and second hand going around a ring with marks for the hours, minutes, or seconds.
He has a gold chain around his waist with a medallion of his family's insignia. He often wears baggy pants that slowly turn translucent at the bottoms.

Personal history
Megalamanix was born in Naish Luu to noble Fairy parents, Mavheran's shipment of Liquid Magic spilled in Naish Luu and began mutating the flora, fauna, and natives who live here. His parents, who are both magically inclined (possible Wizards, Druids, or even Sorcerers), married while they were studying how the spilled magic was effect their world and even themselves. Their horror only grew as they slowly began to become mutated by this spill along with other members of their community, who because the Fea as the changed dramatically because of their exposure to magic.
When his parents discovered they were expecting a child, they were both afraid and hopeful. Afraid that their child would also be affected by the magic spill, but also hopeful that their child would be born a Fairy like they used to be. Unfortunately, their fears were only confirmed when Meglamanix was born even more mutated by the magic now twisting Naish Luu.
Because of this, Meglamanix was almost studied growing up, including both investigating his physical changes due to magic and his own magical abilities, in order to see if other children would be born like him. Thus, he began studying magic as well. The first spell he ever learned, gifted to him as a spell scroll from his mother, was Find Familiar, which manifested itself as a Mug Teacup Wyvern that he named Felicia Dear.
As he grew into an adult, Meglamanix began to tire of his parents pity towards him and efforts to "fix" his mutations. Thus he began to change the course of his magic education. Thus he began to change the course of his magic education to the study of Chronurgy to see if he could possibly go back and change the course of history that led to the mutation of Naish Luu and his people.
Eventually, Manix determined that he had to leave Naish Luu. Gathering only what he would need for research, he went through the agonizing journey of leaving the magically-bound land, escaping with no physical wounds but plenty of psychic damage. After wandering and hitching rides, he finally reaches his first major city and begins expanding his research. He gains some attention from being a flashy, exotic Fae and even more so for his inane project. While no one actually believes it can be done, Manix finds it a very easy talking point at fancy parties with great intellectuals. Thus, he gains some fame and sponsorship from the rich nobles he entertains with his ideas.
Eventually, Manix's research began to take the backburner as he gained more influence through his social circles than his research.

Manix has had extensive education throughout his life, which he picked up from his parents being specialized magical researchers. Once he left Naish Luu, he continued his education and gained the title of professor, though he rarely uses it.

However, know that he's older, he is burnt out and unhealthily pursue more knowledge. He refuses to accept that he has "gifted kid syndrome" and tries to keep the pace of knowledge absorption he had as a child.
