Alseid

The Alseid are a unique race resembling centaurs but with distinct elven torsos and the addition of antlers on the males. Their lower bodies are similar to those of centaurs, with powerful, muscular equine legs, but from the waist up, they possess the elegant, slender forms of elves. Males sport impressive, branching antlers that add to their regal and wild appearance. These antlers grow as they age and often become symbols of status within their communities. Originating from the Feywild, the Alseid are deeply connected to the magic and natural beauty of that realm. They are rarely seen outside of it, as they prefer the secluded forests and ethereal landscapes of their homeland. Despite their ethereal and otherworldly appearance, the Alseid are still a mortal race, bound by the same life cycles as other creatures, though they are long-lived compared to most other mortals.   The Alseid are known for their strength, agility, and mastery of both archery and nature-based magic. Their culture is one of harmony with nature, living in balance with the wild and the elements. They are often peaceful, but fierce in battle when provoked. Alseid males are particularly known for their role as protectors of their communities, using their antlers both in ceremonial roles and as tools for defense.   While they tend to keep to themselves within the Feywild, the Alseid are a proud and honorable race, and those who have ventured into the mortal realm have left a lasting impression with their striking appearance and their connection to the magical forces of the Fey.
