The Shattered Mage
Alarick is the current Shattered Mage, holding the position of principal at the College of the Shattered Spire. He began his role in 3037 when he took over from the former principal Elues, The Great Mitigator. Through his tenure the College has shifted its direction towards further research into the fabric of the plane, attempting to understand what makes the world spin.
In tradition with his prior masters, Alarick is rarely seen on campus, appearing only for formal occasions and special announcements. When he is seen out, he always is leaning on a birch staff topped with a violet crystal ball, and dressed in his black wizard cloak. He always wears his hood low, and a wispy grey beard can be seen sticking out of the hood.
