A Shattered Mage is selected by their predecessor. If no heir is selected, the Trusted Ones vote to select the next Shattered Mage.
Responsibilities
The Shattered Mage is charged with the protection of the Shattered Spire, the oversight of the college, and producing research papers and texts to pass on their accumulated knowledge.
