The Triarchy wars

The Triacrchy wars is the name given to the many civil wars that took place over a 135 year period starting in 1388. Though no wars lasted the full 135 years, it was a violent period where there was conflict of some sort in every part of the country.
Evermere had been a feudal state prior to the The Andorian Empire, several kings and queens ruled over a part of the country which roughly aligned with the provinces we know today.
When the The Andorian Empire conquered the country towards the end of the 4th age these royal lines were essentially dissolved and regional governors appointed by Andoria ruled the provinces.
When the Empire fell some 1500 years later the governors and Andorian nobles who had not fled the country in time were quickly rounded up and executed by the revolutionary armies. After so long no one had even considered lines of succession or how the country would be governed going forwards, but descendants of several royal families came forward with claims to thrones, and civil wars broke out all over the country. These lasted for over a century before 3 monarchs; King Felix of Midevermere, Queen Ailahr of West Evermere and King Thesmir of East Evermere. These three rulers each had stabilsied themselves and the regional ware subsided, to be replaced with the national are in 1303 in which the 3 regions went to war.
