Reborah
Created Race: Aasimar were created by Reborah after she saw the other Gods leaving the work of world creation, in particular when she saw the Tiefling creations of Tarsil she knew that she would have to save her power to create her own race to challenge them. Thus the Aasimar were born as angelic counterparts to the spawn of Tarsil, shining beacons of justice, light and purity that would act as the protectors of the world and those in it.
Client Nation: Tsardom of Rusonia has become the main nation in which Aasimar are found and the teachings of Reborah are preached and worshipped, it has turned the country into a grim defender of their "Mother Reborah", who see threats abounding on all sides from heresy, tieflings in Polania and so on.
Tenets of Religion: Reborah teaches purity, chastity, and virtue in all of life's duties, followers of her faith are devoted to her dearly and will often sally forth to fight and die in her name, even if she is too pure to ask such a thing of them, defending the honor of Reborah is of the upmost importance. Despite her rather tame and peaceful preaching, the zeal she inspires in her followers leads them to be combative and prone to acts of holy violence in order to spread the good word of their loving lady. She stands for light, for love, for purity, hope and kindness, she is like a gentle mother, considering those that worship her to be her children just as they consider her their mother. However she also stands for weakness to some degree, kindness to a fault, too much of a good thing, the inability to act due to possibly offending someone or causing harm and being incapable of making tough decisions. She is as neutral good as it gets.
History: Reborah was always the voice of reason for her siblings, almost a mother of sorts as she was beloved by all, even Tarsil whom she continues to try and whom. Reborah was still so blinded with her devotion to protecting this new world that she failed to see the torment of her youngest brother Martius right before her, as Martius bore the weight of the other Gods leaving him alone to finish the work, Reborah only tried to reconnect with her brother once the world was complete and her children the Aasimar were on their way to becoming the defenders of all that was good in it. When Reborah visited Martius as he helped Beor complete vast tunnel complexes for the dwarves, she could tell something was wrong, but that she shouldnt speak of it in front of Beor. Stepping back she opted to offer the children of Martius, protection in her empires and cities as she waited for her chance to speak with Martius, a chance that would never come as the weakened God was passed around between the other siblings to act as their vassal, and as wars were fought, heroes rose and fell and the Age of Apostasy dragged on, Reborah forgot her brother, leaving him behind to focus on preserving the world until it was too late. One day she awoke to Tarsil imprisoned, Beor and Vonaya defeated in a moment and Martius stalking up to her. Pleading his forgiveness she willingly entered into the cell of stars and could only watch as her Aasimar tried to hold the burning world together, then witnessed with glee as they joined with the humans to pick up the pieces afterwards. When Martius broke free she lead her siblings in the recovery effort, using what little power she could exert over the world to make great heroes that struck the vengeful God down, and dragged him back into his cell where she still attempts to obtain forgiveness today and mend the bond she had broken through inaction.
Goals: Reborah desires only peace for her siblings and their children, she knows the Gods are too volatile and prideful to be allowed out of their cells, and that she has proven herself to be imperfect as well, she seeks to maintain the current status of the world, with the Gods watching their creations build up the world from the stars above, and that those children the Gods created will enjoy a world of peace and prosperity for all.
Rival Religion: Tarsil was the one who left first, creating a snowball effect that caused all the calamity and current status of the world, still, she does not hate him for his actions and is often heard preaching to him about repentance as they sit in cells side-by-side. The Tieflings were created to rule the world and the Aasimar were created to prevent any one race from ruling the world, making them and their Gods natural foes even as Reborah urged her children to destroy the schemes of the Tieflings in as peaceful and bloodless way as they could. Times have changed and in the new world Tieflings are hunted for their past ill deeds, and while many Aasimar still hold a grudge, the word of the Goddess teaches that even they must be saved so long as they are innocent, leading to more than a few awkward situations of Aasimars protecting Tieflings from human dominance, with her church holding the official stance of being solely against one power ruling over all others, not specifically Tieflings.
Attitude towards imprisonment: Regret. Reborah knows her failure is partly to blame for all this, as such she regrets not doing more sooner and has consigned herself to her cell as if it were just punishments for the actions she did not take in her blind ambition for a peaceful and just world. She has taken on the other races as her own, inviting any who would worship her to direct their energies towards helping others instead of trying to build power to escape her cell. She helped her siblings drag Martius back inside his and intends that all Gods should remain until such a time when they all can act civilly, without pride or ambition.
