Aasimar
God/Goddess: Reborah created the Aasimar with the express purpose of guarding the world, protecting it from any one race or God controlling it all. She made them as the divine protectors and even though she and they failed in their duty, she still maintains that this is theirs and her mission, one she attempts to carry out from beyond the stars where she is now imprisoned.
Description: White, golden, albino and pure, the Aasimar look like godlings, children of Reborah herself, their eyes shine vibrant colors such as red, purple or even gold, their skin and hair is fair and soft, white and clean, they shine slightly with the light of their Goddess burning within them, glowing in even the darkest places of the world.
History: Distant and disgraced, the Aasimar empire was far from the human slave mines and farms, their humans were treated as servants or pets, kept away from hard labor and kept docile by the Aasimars protecting them from the far more tyrannical races, whom the Aasimar had tried and failed to convince them to drop their practice of slavery using diplomatic means. This would not save them from Martius wrath, only Reborah offering herself freely to go into the stellar cage would save their lives, but the nation they built, their castles and great works were felled, the Aasimar were already few in number but exiled into the snowy wastes their numbers fell yet further until their refugees could eventually find solace after the war. Whereupon their now superior humans forgave them and recognized the misplaced mercy the Aasimar had given them, the Aasimar population is rising rapidly now, approaching its old heights before the Devastation, this being seen as nothing short of a miracle as during the Devastation, all of the Aasimar champions mysteriously disappeared, leaving their people defenseless.
General Treatment: Aasimars are seen as fallen angels, beings who were supposed to be devoted to peace and order but instead failed to defend the humans when they needed protection the most, they are constantly reminded and degraded for their failure, treated as failures, not worthy of their word or promise. Aasimars are mostly tolerated beyond this, despite the underlying level of slight resentment left over from their history, they can at least enjoy a more passive treatment of their race than the other races.
Patron Nation: The Tsardom of Rusonia is the main nation to accept the Aasimars into their lives, as it lies atop the remains of the former Aasimar nation, it has more Aasimar than any other nation and as the people there worship Reborah, they regard the Aasimar as divine extensions of her will, holy, to be protected as they once tried to protect humans.
Personality Traits: Aasimar tend to be thoughtful, caring, kind and clean of heart and spirit. Those that still hold to the ideals of their creation at least, many spend their years trying to repent of their former nation's inaction and lack of saving humans or others from slavery and death. While those that fall from their ideals tend to go to the extremes in finding out what they really want.
Attitude Towards Humans: Regret, to see a Humans is to be reminded just how far the world has fallen, the Aasimar blame themselves for the treatment of humans that lead to the Devastation, they heap all the woes of the world upon their failure and spend what motivation they have trying to right the wrongs of the world, both making lives better to repay humanity, as well as watching humans to ensure they dont repeat the crimes that were committed against them.
