After the Chandra Free State refused to bow to the Tersten State, its capital Kadari was taken by Unitarian Forces during the War of Chandran Submission. In response to their refusal to surrender, the Unitarians chose to raze the entire settlement, before rebuilding the entire city as a depressing nightmare of a metropolis.
