Imperial Battle Armor

A lost relic of the Empress Thalia Bowers. It was presumed looted from her body after the Battle of Bukwiza, never to be seen physically again, although various images of the armour occasionally resurface, prompting wild legends and hungry collectors.   It is unknown when this piece of armor was constructed.  It is believed to have started life as a standard-issue armor given to military officers and Governor-Generals.  It was, at some point early in the rule of the Imperium Valianum, altered to include various gemstones and precious metals, giving it a distinctive and iconic look.  It was reinforced, and was extremely robust.  On the battlefield, it was said to glow brightly amidst the carnage, its Imperial wearer cutting down any foes with ease, scratching off any bullet or knife.  For this reason, it was extremely valued, and kept safely near the Empress.    It is not known how the Empress died in the Battle of Bukwiza, or where the suit ended up.  Rumours persist of the suit's existence into the modern day, likely on the black market, or in the hands of some collector.  Rarely, images of the battle armour will resurface, taken after the battle, but their validity has never been fully proven.  Because of this, some even believe the Empress did not die, and that the body found on the battlefield was not hers. When presented with DNA evidence the body belonged to Bowers, they often present some form of the "cloning" theory, something well established to be impossible to human science.
