Jasttor Bloodmaw leads Tally, Medericus, and Kitrick on a journey to Dunn's Gate, where Lily's Amulet (worn by Jasttor at the time) compelled him to stop on the way back to the The Metalhearts' base. While there, they met Havine and Relentless, who arrived in Dunn's Gate to investigate strange goings-on in the forest nearby. The player characters formed a party with Aungor Shalehammer and found that a necromancer had been using wolves, bears, and other animals--including the forest guardian, a unicorn named Albion--in his necromancy rituals. The party investigated the matter and found that Stonebend was affected. Further research found that Chogrim the Corpse Speaker had been lying in wait for years, waiting for the return of Tiamat, but got impatient and began to use the town for himself. Father Beauregarde, Havine's guardian for many years, had been an unwilling ally to the necromancer and was responsible for murdering Havine's parents and for instigating the rebellion that allowed him to have control of the town, as per Chogrim's demands. After defeating the necromancer, Beauregarde was banished and Havine decided to start a new life as an adventurer, opting to go with the party who began calling themselves the New Dawn. The New Dawn began their journey back to the Metalhearts base, using the amulet Jasttor entrusted to Tally as a guide towards their destination.
