Or maybe you shall stay home in your fortified keep with your trusted council as you plot against other lords who vy for your lands.
There are many dangers in the world, and it's up to you to overcome them, or fall like the rest. Will you survive the world of Terria?

Pen, Paper, Dice

So, you want to be an adventurer? Well the first step is understand the game and how to play it. If you haven't figured by this point the key ingredients include dice, characters sheets, and pens & pencils. If you are not familiar with an RPG system go ahead and read the following:

RPG or Role Playing Game is a pen and paper game often played with dice but have also evolved to be played on the computer. The basics of the Table Top RPG is the Game Master and the Players. The Game Master is one part story teller and other part rules keeper. Note while the GM should have final athority on the rules, it's up to everyone to agree on what the rules should be before starting. It's the job of the Game Master to give a world for the players to explore and when the players want to do something in that world, the Game Master needs to make sure their character is able to do that based on their abilities, which may or may not require a die roll.
The Job of the players is to create characters to inhabit the world and hopefully not cause chaos and mayhem.

To begin, you must first understand the different dice you will be using when you play the game.
  • D3
  • D4
  • D6
  • D8
  • D10
  • D12
  • D20
  • D100
The most common of these dice you'll be using is the D20, which is used for Ability Checks, Saving Throws, Attack Rolls, etc. Whenever asked to take any sort of action, it's best to assume you'll be using a D20 unless stated otherwise.
