Emperor Doughtaticus III of the Great Western Empire is slain by his own personal bodyguard, Valdar FitzRagnar. Valdar, a knight of the Eagleguard, became the slayer of his Emperor to stop the Civil-War that was ripping apart the continent of Elgerlia. Valdar would then go on to become the first King of the Frost and then High King of Skìrah.
