The form Arassai is usually depicted as is breathtakingly beautiful, with fair pale skin, long golden hair and sparkling blue eyes. She is usually wearing little but a pale golden drape and a laughing smirk.

History

Post-Cataclysm

Arassai, trapped in the Void with all the remaining Aelfs, started using her knowledge of the Realm to either find or make an exit. Before long, she discovered a small band of surviving Gods from both the Hall of Worlds and the Dark Court and they all worked at this together. Through some unknown plan or because of one another, two groups of Gods managed to open their own cracks in the Void, through Aelfspace and down to the same area on Terralba. One of these groups was led by Arassai, and the other was led by Diamen, the former Goddess of Earth and Queen to Terralba.

While they had suspicions of other singular Gods which had either escaped the Void themselves or were never trapped there in the first place, they also feared the possible extinction of their race if they scoured the planet searching for them. And so, these two groups of Gods stayed on Elgerlia and allowed the local mortals to revere them as their Gods once more if it meant they would not be harmed. From then on, these Aelfs became the Survivor Gods and each major cultures adapted their New Pantheons on various members of the Survivor Gods as well as depictions discovered of trapped and dead ones.

Unanimously, the Survivor Gods decided Diamen should remain in her role as Queen of Aelfspace and she returned above Terralba, watching over both the world and the safety of Aelfspace and the Void, if the Gods should ever decide to repopulate their Realms. Arassai, was elected to rule over the Gods still on Terralba as she was after all the Goddess of Creation even before the Twilight Cataclysm. In time also, Arassai and Shyracon, the now God of Night and Law, developed a relationship which would end in their marriage and joint rule over the New Pantheons.

Corruption of Marquash

Marquash, previously God of Witchcraft and prominent member of the Dark Court, still held the grudges of the Celestial War and didn't share the same passion of looking forward than looking behind the rest of the Survivor Gods seemed to share, including his old General Arassai. However, he understood feelings like those felt during the War would never just disappear and he started work on his subtle magics to corrupt Arassai's mind.

The corrupted Arassai planted a seed of golden power and magic into a mortal bloodline. Golden power had only ever been wielded by Aelfs and would always kill any mortals that developed the powers, except Marquash through Arassai had specially designed this magical seed to be hope to return the Gods to their past glories of dominion and domination. If this bloodline was allowed to continue, mature, and develop over countless centuries and generations, once this seed bloomed it would give birth to the most powerful mortal the planet and history of the Gods would ever witness, a true Demi-God.

Blinded by the trickery and magics of Marquash, Arassai did not see what the other Survivor Gods saw. Arassai saw the vision of Marquash, this mortal being a chosen one out of the peoples of Terralba, which would shepherd the flock back to their rule before the Eras of Men began thousands of years ago. The other Gods saw what could happen, where this mortal would be a disaster of an experiment and could prove to be the utter destruction of either Terralba or Aelfkind. Golden power was not designed to be wielded by mortals for a reason. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and who would know what this Demi-God being could be capable of.

Judgement of Shyracon

Shyracon, enraged at his wife but wary not to spark off another celestial conflict in the Survivor Gods, knew that Arassai needed to be punished in a way that did not reopen any rifts now sealed. Together, he and the other Survivor Gods, including the scheming Marquash, overthrew the crazed Arassai from her Terralban thone and sent her to a special prison in the Void, designed and tailored by Diamen especially for her.

Here, she would be imprisoned for 10,000 winters. Here, she has sat in isolation, further falling down the rabbit hole of madness. Shyracon took her throne for himself as the All-Father and this story went on to form the mythical basis of the Korg Pantheon. To this date, Arassai is revered as the Goddess of the Underworld, where evil or wicked souls will be sent to her personal prison dimension trapped in solitude forever.
