The World is Sand and Glass...Watch Your Step

The Gods actions are changing the world, and they are changing it to it's core. Time itself has changed, history has shifted, the balance of power is similarly shifting to the field of magic. Most disturbing of all has been the omens.
The Eye of the Moon Oracle stated in it's very first Prophecy:

Sage Analysis

The Sages at the Library of Atlantis have conflicting interpretations. They agree that the form of the Prophecy is in a very rare Double Pentaktys form - each line increases in syllables up to a maximum of five syllables. With no punctuation, the Prophecy offers little guidance and has largely been kept quiet. What is recognised, is that the Elves are at the heart of it.
However, the Tetraktys form matches the inscription on the Pyramid of Talos in Atlantis itself, making the Brazen another potential race involved in the mystery.
Some sages have noted the use of Ware and Moon in the same line - and have taken it to mean the presence of Were-creatures in the prophecy.

Manifestation

Everything started with Kronos (Saturn) and his Shadow, as Chronos the Lord of Destructive Time - upon being defeated suffered from a break in the heart that fractured the fabric of Time. This fracturing has manifest not only in Time Sequences being distorted with histories and technologies appearing together in new ways and places, but in the physics of some areas too. The myths of the past have at times become physical reality, changing how some things react in the World.

The Light-gems of the World

Hekate, the goddess of magic has disappeared and three new comets now appear in the Heavens, blue, red and silver/white - each bearing a connection to the missing goddess. The Comet of the Sun (Red) caused greater magics to appear, and the Comet of the Moon (Silver) caused the races to alter. The Comet of the Earth (Blue) brought with it divine based magics and monsters. Pieces of red, blue-green, and clear-silver crystal have been found scattered in different parts of the world - all are thought to come from the Crystal spheres that are now ablaze in the Heavens as three comets that move around the planet, scattering dusts of different colors behind them.

Races & Monsters

• Some races are different from the ones in the books.
• New Races and Subspecies are now appearing
• Hit Dice now differ for every MOB with some being higher or lower in level due to the alterations - 5 HD Orcs are possible, just as it is possible to find 2HD Minotaurs.

Gem Empowerment

Gem Stones can now also be magical or contain wider varieties of magical effects. Gem dust is now used universally in Magic Spell as ADDITIONAL components needed in addition to the normal components, and in enchanting items - the color of the gem stone matching the normal color of the normal component in some cases. In many spells - it is simply gemstone dust that is needed regardless of it's color. The value is 20gp per spell level in Gemstone dust per casting needed in order to cast the spell.
Solid Gemstones can now store magic spells and upon being shattered release the effects - this Gem Casting skill is a new talent and a greatly contested one. You may no longer need a spell caster by your side if you have enough empowered gemstones on hand. But it makes everyone much more dangerous - you never know what a lowly foe may be able to do with a single stone.

Sand Empowerment

The Silver Sands from some deserts and seas are also found to now have magic containment ability of a low level - but this is still being explored by Wizards. It is said to be linked to the Silver Streams of Sand said to be seen in the skies recently.

Localization

This set of changes includes a change to the nature of Gemstones, Sand and even glass containers (if rumors are to be believed). These changes are said to be World-wide from what is known. The World is watching and learning about the Silver Sands Phenomenon.

Metaphysical, Divine
