The Kept
Overview
The Kept are the more beautiful of the Half-Elves of Atlantis. They are commonly treated as paragons of the Upper Classes in Atlantis, and have a nebulous but, powerfully influential position in the community.Pre-Requisites
Must have a Charisma or Comeliness of 16 or more.Must be Half-Elven.
Ethnicity Background
The Kept have a distinct advantage over other characters at the start - with the patronage of a senior Atlantean family already guaranteed provided they do nothing to bring themselves or that family into disrepute.The Kept are those Half-Elves who have taken on a more noble perspective and have been accepted into the Upper Echelons of society.
Appearances are everything to the Kept, they are maintained in the best finery and must spend at least 10% of their earnings on clothing, grooming, and self-improvement in order to maintain their status. Image is everything.

The Kept will gain Heraldry and Etiquette free of charge at the outset. They MUST take Dancing and High Atlantean however by 3rd Level.
