Seventeen Questions and Answers of the Laurion Commander

Overview

The Seventeen Questions are known but the Answers are kept secret from all but Rangers of 17th level or higher in the Grand Lodge. It is rumored by some to be a method to achieve Enlightenment (Some Lawful Good Monks claim it to be an advanced text on such philosophy). Military Sages have interpreted it otherwise - but regardless - it has allowed Rangers to cast spells and achieve greater insights into nature. So it's liberating nature has been confirmed in part by results of the new class.

Each vertical line of the text has been taken to be a different 'question' or issue.

Purpose

To teach about strategy and in particular about spying and the use of scouts and spies in establishing and maintaining a kingdom. This includes the potential for such warriors to be used in overthowing an empire. It forms the basis for Ranger Class training in Atlantis.

Document Structure

Clauses

Seventeen Separate Questions are asked and responded to in this very short but straight forward book. Each statement is like an axiom of warfare and strategy written in a flowing script of ideographs. It appears to be very ancient. The clauses are cryptic in nature.

Caveats

Given the shortness of the text it is wondered if it is a fragmentary text only. Yet it seems to be self-contained.

References

None that are known.

Publication Status

Never published - only seen by the most advanced of sages and of Master Rangers (17th level or higher).
