Basic Information

Anatomy

Wisps are 5 to 10 Centimeters in size and most of the time take the form of elemental representations of Humanoids which are almost always of Elben descent, but they are know to sometimes resemble animals of there Area of Origin. Wisps have the Ability to alter there given Elements and Elemental combination to a certain degree, for example a Earth Water Wisp could draw water, move small rocks, harden or soften mud, but not much more.

Genetics and Reproduction

Wisps reproduce like other animals with the prerequisite that the ambient Void Density is above two times the "Immortality Threshold" and that there given elemental combination is present in sufficient quantities.

Growth Rate & Stages

Wisps are born with a size of 2cm and grow up to be around 7.5cm. Wisps are considered mature after they have reached they Age of 5. They are born in groups of 2 to 4 and develop strong family bonds as early as two months old. Wisps can enhance there elemental Control by consuming enough objects with high void Density.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Wisps consume objects that closely resemble there given elements, as well as ones with high void density

Biological Cycle

Wisps reach maturity after 5 years and can reproduce at that point. They can live as long as 25 years, but after 20 they are considered an Elder of there Clan. The age of a Wisp is divided into 3 Stages marked by the age of 5 and 20 as there manifested Form actively changes at both those times.

Additional Information

Social Structure

Wisps live in Clans consisting of two to five Families with an average of 20 members each. A Wisp Clan is Ruled by the Elders of each Family and operated by the Mature members of the Clan. Clan Members don't have specific jobs or tasks rather they all learn together and work together. The Clans Area of Influence is defined by the Central Structures consisting of Houses made of the Clans given Elements and small Outposts about every 5m from the main Complex. These Outposts act as hubs for hunting and gathering operations, as well as Watchtowers for the Clan. {The Clans area of influence is roughly defined as 5m when the Central Complex is Formed and 1 meter for every population rise of 10% with a min Starting population of 12}

Domestication

Created and Guided by the Fae in an Attempt to gain a Foothold in the Material World.
The Wisps where originaly Created by the Schattenwandler Kingdom to compete with the Gods over the Material Plane, but by the Year 5 AMR each Fae Kingdom had created there own Wisp Clans.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Wisps use Elemental Sense, but due to there mixed heritage this sense has very low functionality, they instead have developed sight and hearing like most other animals. Wisps communicate by Speaking in sounds of there given Element (i.e. Earth Water Wisp: sound of hitting stone/metal, breaking glass and so on) in addition Wisps gesticulate by manipulation there given Elements to represent more complex concepts.

Civilization and Culture

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

Young Wisps form Sub Clans of 5 to 10 consisting of family members and friends, during this time the young Wisps explore the edges of there Clans area of Influence and generally exhibit curiosity and wanderlust. Some Sub Clans, whos members are nearing maturity, decide to leave the Clan and form there own, these New Clans leave there home Clans area of Influence and settle down about 1 to 5 Map Days away to create there new Settlement.
