Iloelthisme
Iloelthisme is the Eldari religion based upon the life, mythology, and teachings of the Eirieol, Iloelth. It is a relgion practiced almost exclusively by the Drosni of Terra Duhr. Its adherents, known as Iloelthesn, make up the near total majority of all Drosni territories, and believe that Iloelth is ascended, having resurrected in the Nair'thae, and evangalized for the liberation of the Eldorei from the Fae eldari millennia ago.
Beliefs
The cornerstone of the religious reverence of Iloelth is based on mythology surrounding her death and resurrection. According to scripture, the slain mortal body of Iloelth was set adrift among the waters after her death at the hands of Mysra. For several days, her blood mixed with the waters, and the astral souls infused within. It is believed that because of Iloelth's purity of purpose, that the gods willed her back to life, so that it may be known to all that her cause was just. With the resurrection of Iloelth, she was able to hold her mortal form for eight days, during which she outlined the tenets of her revelation, as her soul began her celestial ascension. During that time, she blessed several of her most trustworthy followers, who are sometimes referred to as the "Il'rin". These followers would take up the cause of Iloelth after her passing, and help guide the Drosni into the post-daemon age.
