Humanoids

Humanoids are all races that are descended from the human family tree. Although not always human in appearance, they usually have some traits seen in humans such as high magic resistance, nearly hairless bodies, upright posture, high intelligence, and extreme endurance and survival capabilities. Typically humanoid races live anywhere from 60 to 200 years although there are exceptions.
Vampires are a humanoid race not directly descended from Humans but rather are considered a 'cousin' of them, evolving some time during the human era or just before it.
Mages are unlike vampires, direct descendants of the human race.
