Chanticleer Delyn Lemastre
Delyn Lemastre is known primarily in relation to Zaginax Cifari; she's his girlfriend, or fiancee, or long-term lover, or something along those lines. She's the court wizard, or what passes for court wizard when the Castellan technically isn't an aristocrat (but his wife slightly is). Delyn seems to try to do what he can to not be perceived as a clinger or hanger-on to someone else's power and influence, but he also seems content to strut around as an accomplished musician and composer, eat good food, drink good wine, and mostly stay hidden in his lover's shadow, at least until he gets too old and she, an elf, doesn't. He's a friendly and good natured person but it sometimes feels like an act, perhaps a bit full of himself and too concerned about his looks, but then he is a bard, so.
In addition to telling interesting stories, singing songs and playing the mandolin, he also is known for doing close-up slight-of-hand magic - card tricks, pulling coins out of kid's ears, that sort of thing. The running joke told behind his back is that he has to constantly invent new tricks to keep Zaginax entertained in bed.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
A trim and fit young man with the peculiar knack for looking more attractive due to a few odd features, rather than less attractive; it all comes together well and he clearly spends a good deal of time and effort on his appearance, in line with his attention-seeking behavior.
Facial Features
His face is pretty and well proportioned, with a mix of Maseracht and Esterline though the blonde hair is entirely Maseracht. He has a scar on his upper lip and nose from a dog attack in his childhood, as well as vestigial partial eyebrows above his actual eyebrows, manifesting as two symmetrical soft patches of fine blonde hair in his mid forehead. He shaves these off from time to time but he feels like they grow back darker every time, so he also bleaches them with lemon juice to minimize their appearance. He's probably a lot more self-conscious of them than he needs to be.
Identifying Characteristics
Has small scars on his nose and upper lip from being mauled by a wild dog as a child. Has a vestigial second set of partial eyebrows.

"Flamboyant' covers it pretty well; he spends a lot of money on clothing, boots, and accoutrement. He also is a talented player of any kind of stringed instrument, and usually carries his Mandolin in a backpack strap case with him or keeps it nearby. He writes epic tales and sings ballads of adventure and glory, which are always popular though rarely truthful.

Is a paid entertainer at the Keep, but isn't the only entertainer. Amanara generally schedules him to events and parties to which Zaginax isn't invited, so he can still bring her as a +1, and not to events that she is invited to, so she can bring him as a +1 and he doesn't have to work while he's there. He earns a weekly stipend and then an added payment for his actual performances, and in reality it isn't much, so to keep him living the lifestyle he prefers, he has to stay with Zaginax.
