Wanderlust Boots

The Wanderlust Boots were created just before the Soul Wars by an unknown mage. They fill the wearer with an insatiable desire to explore the unknown, urging him to discover new things. The boots are filled with the joy of discovery and adventure, and the more the wearer pushes the boundaries of his knowledge, the more the boots reward him with happiness and good health.
The Wanderlust Boots are capable of walking on any surface, be it water, lava, or even air, for short distances. But as stated by the tongue-twister associated with their tale: the heavier the wearer of the boots is, the shorter of a time they have using the boots' powers in one go. And when worn by someone who possesses a complete lack of curiosity, someone who is content to stay where they are with what they know, the boots seem to have a desire of their own; they urge the wearer to something they are seeking.
Nobody knows who created the Wanderlust Boots, or why they seem drawn to discovering new places, but they are a legendary relic spoken about by bards and Wayfinders alike, and their usage gave Levana Starstrider her name.
