Thirteenth House
The Thirteenth House is an ancient name, found scratched into stone tablets and burned into forgotten tapestries. Most believe it refers to a lost noble lineage or fallen order, struck from history by decree or disaster. In Othvarand, the name surfaces in tales of ruined halls, eclipsed moons, and those who sought to live beyond their allotted span.
The Church call it a heresy, others call it a ghost story. But in the wildlands, there are signs - shifting symbols carved into trees, dreams shared across villages, and figures in ancient armor glimpsed at the edge of campfires.
Whatever the truth, the name has returned, and those who speak it often do so with unease. The House may have no banner left to fly, but it may yet seek to raise one.
