Grey Cloaks

The Grey Cloaks are a loose, often solitary brotherhood of rangers, scouts, and wardens who roam the wilds of the Mornlands. Bound by tradition rather than law, they rarely gather in number, instead passing knowledge through direct mentorship and spoken word alone. Their ways are old—older than most borders—and few outside their ranks truly understand their customs.

Though they owe no fealty to crown or court, the Grey Cloaks are vital to the safety of Othvarand's borderlands, watching for signs of threat, guiding lost travelers, and thinning dangers before they reach settled roads. When one Cloak calls, others come—but this only happens when the land itself is in peril.
