Ma'Zar

Ma'Zar is a town a few miles inside J'Zanassi Forest, along the J'Zan Passage. The city is built atop two large hills, with the Thrashanir River running between them, connected by a pair of bridges. The town is built into the trees; most buildings are hollowed-out trees, and the remainder are all made of wood. Small bridges sometimes connect adjacent trees. The Mithril Gauntlet has an outpost in town, on the northwestern hill near the bridges.
On the way down the northwest hill, leading out of town, the hillside has been leveled to accommodate Forest's Edge, a large inn and stable. Built into the hillside and the trees above, many rooms have windows opening to the river hundreds of feet below. The inn is run by Ra'Shir and his daughter Chiranni.
