Grey Dwarves
During The Absence, a small clan of dwarves sought refuge with the Twilight Elves in Eleth Telora. While there, they abused their host's hospitality by setting up a smuggling operation and were given a choice: to take their chances against the Lizardfolk on the Nythenor Plains or to journey into the Subtide Nexus. They chose the latter.
The Grey Dwarves built the town of Dhagakhoum deep underground, beneath central Rasharan. From there, they've expanded and grown their smuggling operation, running the Ebon Bazaar.
Grey Dwarves are self-indulgent as a race. While not malevolent towards other humanoid races, they seek their own ends and profits with little concern of how that impacts others.
