Homundar

The Lord of Thunder

"Lightning flashed, thunder rolled, and another orc fell. 'Come on then, swine!' the dwarf bellowed, holding his necklace aloft in one hand, still wielding a deadly-looking hammer in the other. 'Test me further, if you wish to taste more of the Lord of Thunder's might!'   The orcs did not test the wanderer further, grudgingly backing away into the night's shadows."

Divine Goals & Aspirations

The Lord of Thunder oversees the natural ebbs and flows of nature. Although worshipped by some druids, he has no particular grudge against civilization, deforestation, or any other topics which might be expected. In fact, like nature, he is disconnected, not taking a hand in things very often, even by deific standards.   This is not to say he is dispassionate, however; the fastest single way to raise his ire and receive a torrential thunderstorm is to begin attempting to manipulate the natural laws and processes of the world. Farmers and ranchers who domesticate and herd animals are much beloved by him, but breeders who seek to manipulate the strains of those domesticated animals are ever wary of the sky, for instance. Druids, clerics of any faith, and mages of all stripes likewise seek to shift weather patterns in only the smallest of ways, and only with great caution, lest they receive lightning from clear skies in response.
