Episode 15: Clipped Wings
General Summary
Party learns from Kite that him and Strix fled the flight after a heist where Strix's alignment changed after interacting with a powerful magical artifact. Their interaction at Frostvale was brought about by Kite taking a contract to kill Davvalor Voronoff from a young woman who was raped by him.
Kite and Strix want to get away from being assassins, but they can't just turn themselves in to the authorities and hope for the best. They are willing to provide information on Flight operations and personnel, but they need a contact within the government that can guarantee their safety.
Noyade and Siri want to help them, but Kerensky is adamant about staying out of it. They argue for quite some time trying to decide what to do.
The next day Siri and Noyade visit the Temple of Tyr and Ilmater. Upon entering the cultist amulet that Noyade was carrying burst into flame and a nearby paladin accuses Noyade of being a cultist. Siri calms the situation and goes to find Himo. Siri discusses everything that's happened so far with Himo, including their interactions with assassins. Himo gets upset and warns Siri to be careful.
Meanwhile Rolando sought out information on what happened at the agency. After spending some time inquiring at administrative buildings he learns that all funeral and inheritance matters have been dealt with excluding what was left to him. The guard has a hold on this amount until he reports and answers some questions for them. At the Guardskeep he speaks with Arannis Mellerelel who interviews him about the agency and asks if there is anyone who might have a vendetta against his compatriots at the agency.
