Axdros, The Sword of Fire and Ice
Axdros, Blade of War was created by Bahamut to be one of his angels of justice. Prior to the Draconic Wars Axdros was one of Bahamut’s most loyal soldiers. During the Draconic War the Gods of Old decided against intervening in the conflict of mortals. Axdros strongly disagreed with this decision and actively fought the dragons on behalf of mortals around the plane. Even with Axdros’ help, one angel was not enough to protect the realm. Axdros was banished by Bahamut for his betrayal and he spent the next four hundred years training in single combat.
When the second dawn war began Axdros was a pinnacle of combat. He personally took down three primordial with his Frozen Greatsword and Flaming Arrows. When Bahamut was slain he took justice upon the primordial who killed his mentor even when it took him to the edges of the universe. By the time he ascended into Godhood he had personally slain six primordial, more than any god before him. It is said that each of his six wings represents one of the primordial he had slain.
It was after the second dawn war that Axdros first looked upon Aella, the then spirit of the Sea. He fell in love at first sight and the two were married upon reaching godhood. Axdros’ rival Forus also fancied Aella and kidnapped her to his dark citadel in the Astral Sea. In an act of pure passion Axdros declared war against Forus, knowing he could not beat the god of war at his own game. While Axdros won every battle he was present for, it became clear that he was to lose the war. In a desperate attempt to save his love he challenged Forus to singleton combat, knowing that Forus’ pride would require him to fight.
Their battle was vicious and shook the heavens. Axdros’ mighty greatsword Winter’s Bite meet Forus’ great battle axe Warrior’s Bane and it seemed that both warriors would destroy each other. All seemed lost when Forus knocked Axdros sword out of his grasp. Using his longbow Íss, Axdros sunk two flaming arrows into Forus’ eyes winning him the battle. Axdros and Aella now live in his golden keep in the Astral Sea. His keep is said to be the most impregnable fortress in all of the planes and has withstood centuries of siege from Forus and his horde.

Artifacts
There are three known artifacts of the Axdros, each used by him in his life.
Axdros wielded the shortbow Íss, the bow whose arrows herald the vengeance of fire and ice. Axdros lent his bow to King Vladimir to help him to stop Ezreh at the Well of the World. It was said to be wielded by the the Lady of the Mist and that she slew much evil with it.
Winter's Shard is a fractured piece of Axdros's Legendary Blade. The weapon appears to be a crude shard of flaming ice. It was also wielded by the Khan Mhuren after he liberated it from Vladimir's tomb.
Lastly is the Fiery Rime, Armor of Axdros. This armor was wore by Xarxes' whom is said to be the prophet of Axdros himself.
Tenets of Faith
Axdros is a symbol to those who see war as an agent for peace and not wanton hate but still respect the need for vengeance. It is Axdros’ law that vengeance is a weapon of necessity and it required for a warrior to truly understand what is valuable to him. Many across all of Telamoria pay respect to Axdros and there is a tournament held in his name in the Telian Empire. His many names include the Sword of Fire and Ice, Lion of Justice and Blade of War.
