Anapteros Sea Storms
The sea storms that regularly batter the coastal regions of the Anapteros Forest have long been monitored and recorded by colonists on Arcadia, particularly those who live and work in the affected areas. The Great Aegean Ocean is a hotbed of storms that sweeps the western coastline of New Lakonia regularly, particularly during the autumn and winter months. Due to the tidal forces of having two moons, the oceans are dangerous places on the planet, with extremely high waves and unpredictable tides that come in and out rapidly. Coupled with storms, the oceans become nearly impossible to navigate safely; coastal seafaring around the Anapteros is normally halted during the storm season and undertaken carefully even in fairer weather. The sea storms themselves consist of hurricane-force winds typically in the region of 65-87 mph (105-140 kph), or a rating of 11+ on the Beaufort scale, with torrential rain that is sometimes accompanied by thunder and lightning. Summer storms sometimes result in dry lightning, with fires in the coastal forests being somewhat commonplace. Damage during the winter can consist of the erosion of beaches and cliffs, landslides from rain or high waves, the uprooting of trees, and the destruction of human and Vasgarth-built structures on the coast. Most fauna and flora around the coastlines are adapted to surviving this extreme weather, but the deaths of animals and the destruction of plants is still a forgone conclusion during the worst of the weather. By the time it reaches inland, it has usually been reduced to typical stormy weather expected during the autumn and winter.

What an interesting storm love the fact that you describe the reason it happens is because the world has two moons and how it differs from Winter over summer storms. Cool idea
Many thanks! <3
