The Throughways
A complex of tunnels through Dy'As Ridge leading to shaped stone bridges crossing Crehss' Cross, the throughway is how you go from continent to continent without using ships, outside of Bellhold which is on the opposite side of the globe surrounded by water. Each reachable continent has five throughways connecting to each of the two continents to either side, with three larger throughways connecting to the continent on the opposite side. The north/south bridges run under the east/west ones in the center of the canyon. The tunnels all slope upward leading to the Cross, resulting in the bridges being 100 feet above the water below and stretching out for half a mile to reach the other side on average. A marvel of engineering only made possible through the power of shapers, each of the world's nations has a vested interest in maintaining The Throughways, repairing any bridges damaged or destroyed by bad actors and keeping the tunnels clear and secure.
