Compransion

Shorthand for compress-expansion, another potent incantation for shaping maiga. Compransion works on the principle of condensing maiga into a small space with immense density, then, while maintaining that density of maiga, expanding the volume of the held maiga, multiplying the energy held by a massive amount. This energy can then be used in a variety of ways, though the most commonly seen and talked about use is combat, unleashing a devastating blast all at once or a flurry of smaller but still dangerous projectiles. It can be used in medical shaping to fuel healing, charge large charges near instantly, or even overcharging a device or mechan for huge increases in their output. While not nearly as dangerous to the shaper as gigatas, compress-expansion still taxes their bodies significantly. It takes less time to manifest than gigatas, but is likewise less potent. Which, given how devastating gigatas is, is usually a desired property.
The actual incantation for compransion is entirely physical, using one's hands to literally compress and expand the maiga at the same time as willing it.
