Shaking the ground and spewing jets of flame into the sky intermittently fr three days, and covering the surrounding landscape in smoke for weeks after, the Firmont eruption near the Hinterlands was one of the largest in recorded history. Locals are quick to blame Roderick of Rathgar and his expedition to find the Lost City of Levantar; a trek from which none ever returned.
