The Abbreviated History of Tarien
Both a series of lectures and reference book by the renowned scholar Xeerix Zenzorax from the University of Karradone. The lectures took place during the spring semester of 477 AC with the transcripts from these lectures being transcribed into 10 volumes by his teaching assistants - both from his notes and those of his students - over the next two years. It is, to date, the most comprehensive look at demi-human and Human history ever collected, ranging for Trilliodorus Naltryhim's first words through the opening of the Window of Fire. Given its breadth, the title is something of an attempt at humor, though as the author notes, "a comprehensive history would detail every person's experience and is therefore, implausible".
As a demi-human himself, Xeerix takes a critical look at the human-centric bias found in most academic histories as part of his analysis.
