Sands Agreement
After nearly 200 years of conflict between the Empire of Eldoria and Emirates of the Dharja'shan, the two agreed that trade was better than warfare and signed a peace treaty. Everything in Dameron's Plain and the city of Carboth is ceded to Eldoria. Everything else - mostly desert and mountain - is retained by the Dharja'shan. In exchange, the Emirates gain exclusive, tariff free trading with Eldorians. This allows Dharjan horses, rugs, and other goods to be sold at much higher margins to the rest of Tarien.
